Adobe Illustrator features the ability to generate multiple pages. These pages are referred to within Illustrator as "artboards," and these pages can be moved around and rearranged as the user sees fit. Adobe Illustrator CS4 and CS5 have made adding pages easier as the user is able to select how many pages they want in the "New" dialog window. The user can also add subsequent pages thereafter with the "Artboard" tool.

Step 1

Open Adobe Illustrator on your computer. Click "File" at the top left-hand corner of the menu bar and select "New".

Step 2

Locate the "Number of Artboards" box and change the number according to how many pages you want. You can also arrange the pages by clicking on the corresponding buttons to the right of the "Number of Artboards". Click "OK" when finished.

Step 3

Click on the Artboard tool icon in the "Tools" bar to the left of your work space. Click and hold while moving the mouse to create the new page in the space you've chosen. Release the left click button to finalize your new page.
