Virgin Mobile offers a prepaid phone service, which requires that you deposit money into the account to pay for monthly services. Virgin Mobile also offers several methods of making this payment. You can make deposits through their website, over your phones web browser or by purchasing a prepaid card with cash.

Step 1

Log in to your Virgin Mobile online account manager from the web. Click on the "Top-Up" link on the left side of the screen. You will be presented with the option of adding money to your account with a credit card, PayPal or a prepaid “Top-Up” card.

Step 2

Press the “$” button on your phone, which is located on most Virgin Mobile phones at the top of the circular button. Select “Top-Up” from the list of options. You will be presented with the same payment choices that appear on the website.

Purchase a Top-Up card from a vendor. These are widely available at convenience stores. Top-Up cards come in several denominations and can be purchased with cash, making them the only way to maintain Virgin Mobile service if you do not have a credit card, debit card or PayPal account. However, the store will usually charge an additional fee on top of the face value of the card.
