How to Add Funds to My Boost Mobile
By Jalisa Summerville
Boost Mobile, operated by Sprint/Nextel Wireless, offers its customers a variety of mobile phones and calling plans without the long-term commitment of a one- or two-year contract. Customers can text, talk, email, instant message and surf the Web for a flat monthly fee. If you need to add money to your existing Boost Mobile account, there are a few payment options available using the Internet and your wireless phone.
Visit a Re-Boost retail store. You can add money to your Boost Mobile account at any authorized retailer. Access Boost Mobile's official website to view a list of stores near your area. Enter your five-digit Zip code into the search field under "Pay in Person" and click "Go." A list of stores will appear, including contact information and a map to the location.
Make the payment at the register and the funds will be instantly added to your account. The other option is to purchase a Boost Mobile airtime card. After obtaining a Boost refill card, log into your online account using your 10-digit cell number and four-digit PIN. Enter the 14-digit PIN to add the funds to your account using the "Add Money" tab.
Sign up for auto Re-Boost. Boost mobile offers monthly automatic drafts from a credit or debit card. To use this service, log on to the website and click "My Account." Click "Add Money" and select the "Click Here to Enroll Your Default Payment Method" link. Follow the on-screen directions and read the site's terms and conditions before enrollment. If this is your first time utilizing this service, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.
Use your debit or credit card to make a one-time payment. Access this service through Boost Mobile's website or from your wireless phone by dialing #ADD (#233). For both services, enter your debit or credit card number when prompted. Follow or listen to the on-screen or automated attendant's instructions to successfully make a payment. You can also sign-up for recurring payments while using the one-time payment option.
