How to Track a SafeLink Phone

SafeLink is a government-sponsored program that offers a free cellular telephone and a limited number of calling minutes for eligible families. TracPhone, the prepaid subsidiary of AT&T Wireless, provides the cellular service for the SafeLink program. If you want to check on the status of your SafeLink enrollment or if you or a SafeLink customer and you want to find out when you will receive your phone, you can use the Online SafeLink enrollment status tool.

Go to the Online SafeLink enrollment status tool (See Resources).

Enter your SafeLink enrollment ID. You received your enrollment ID at the time you applied for SafeLink services. If you can't locate your enrollment ID, you can enter your date of birth, the last four digits of your Social Security number and your ZIP Code.

Click the "GO" button for detailed information about the status of your SafeLink application. If SafeLink has approved your application, the enrollment status tool will provide tracking information for your SafeLink phone. This tracking information includes details about the expected delivery date of your phone.
