How to Activate the Built-In Camera on a Sony Vaio

Many of the Sony Vaio laptops such as the VGN-FZ390, include a built-in webcam that you can use to take pictures, create short videos with video programs and video chat with family and friends using messenger applications such as Yahoo! and Skype. Turning on your camera is simple, and within minutes, you can begin sharing funny photos and videos using your favorite media application.
Click the Windows "Start" menu and select "All Programs."
Scroll up the programs list and locate the "Vaio Camera Capture Utility" folder. Click the folder to open it.
Click the "Vaio Camera Capture Utility" software located in the folder. Your webcam then starts. Click the "Settings" button. Select the image or video resolution you want to use. Select your microphone and recording time and quality. Select the output file format. Click "OK" to save the changes.
Launch your your photo or messenger application and begin using your webcam.
