How to Access My AOL Account
By Stephen Lilley
Accessing your AOL account allows you to perform a few different actions. If you only have an AOL email address, accessing your account will allow you to check for new messages and send messages to anyone you'd like. If you have AOL as an Internet service provider, accessing your account will also allow you to check your account history and view billing statements. Your AOL account can be accessed from the AOL main page.
Open your Web browser and go to AOL's main website (see References).
Click "Sign In" in the upper right corner of the website.
Type your AOL email address and password into the corresponding boxes onscreen. This is the same information you use to access your Internet connection if you use AOL as an Internet service provider.
Click "Sign In" to access your AOL account.
