The Casio MS-80TV is an eight-digit, large angled display, solar-powered calculator. The unit is 1 1/4 inches high, 4 inches wide and 5 3/8 inches long, and it weighs 4 oz. Its backlighted display allows users to see the calculation in dim light, and it has a battery backup when there is not enough light to activate the solar panel. The calculator is capable of up to 16-digit approximations, as well as tax and currency exchange calculations. It features memory with recall and comma markers for large numbers.
Press the “AC” button to turn on the calculator.
Press the digit keys to enter numbers into the calculator.
Press the function keys to enter the type of problem you want to solve. For example, press the “+” key to add two sets of numbers.
Press the digit keys to enter your second set of numbers.
Press “=” to solve your math problem.
Press the “M+” function key to enter the number in the display into the calculator’s memory. Press the “M+” function key again to add the display number to the calculator’s memory. Press the “M-“ function key to subtract the display number from the calculator’s memory. Press “MRC” to display the total amount in the calculator’s memory.
Press and hold down “AC” to turn the calculator off.
Tips
Clean the calculator by wiping it with a damp cloth.
Remove the battery if you will be storing the calculator.
