How to Configure Toshiba eStudio for Network Printing

Toshiba Corp. manufactures and markets a family of full color, multi-function machines under the eStudio line for business use that are network compatible. These photo-quality color copier/printer/scanner/fax combination machines can be connected to your network through an on-board network interface card. Once assigned an IP address, the multi-function eStudio machine becomes a 25 to 35 copy-per-minute full color printer.
Dynamic TCP/IP Addressing
Press "User Functions" on the control panel.
Touch the "Admin" tab on the touch-screen.
Enter the administrator password by touching the appropriate keys on the QWERTY keyboard on the touch-screen. Touch "Enter."
Touch the "Network" icon on the touch-screen.
Touch the "TCP/IP" icon on the touch-screen.
Touch the "Dynamic" button on the touch-screen.
Touch the "Enter" button on the touch-screen.
Touch the "Apply Now" button on the touch-screen. The display will show a "Network Initializing" message while the network interface card initializes.
Press "Function Clear" on the control panel to return to the default mode.
Static TCP/IP Addressing
Press "User Functions" on the control panel.
Touch the "Admin" tab on the touch-screen.
Enter the administrator password by touching the appropriate keys on the QWERTY keyboard on the touch-screen. Touch "Enter."
Touch the "Network" icon on the touch-screen.
Touch the "TCP/IP" icon on the touch-screen.
Touch the "Static" button on the touch-screen.
Touch the "IP Address" button on the touch-screen, then use the number keys on the control panel keypad to enter the IP address. Input the first three digits, then touch the right arrow key. Input the next three digits, then touch the right arrow key. Continue until all the digits are inputted.
Touch the "Subnet Mask" button on the touch-screen, then use the number keys on the control panel keypad to enter the subnet mask. Input the first three digits, then touch the right arrow key. Input the next three digits, then touch the right arrow key. Continue until all the digits are inputted.
Touch the "Gateway" button on the touch-screen, then use the number keys on the control panel keypad to enter the gateway. Input the first three digits, then touch the right arrow key. Input the next three digits, then touch the right arrow key. Continue until all the digits are inputted.
Touch the "Enter" button on the touch-screen.
Touch the "Apply Now" button on the touch-screen. The display will show a "Network Initializing" message while the network interface card initializes.
Press "Function Clear" on the control panel to return to the default mode.
Tips
The eStudio machine can be configured for Netware and Appletalk as well as TCP/IP addressing. Select the alternate addressing mode by touching the appropriate icon in step 5.
