Insert the fax. Prepare the documents you need to fax. Place the original paperwork face down with the top edge first in the Automatic Document Feeder.
Set up the cover page. Press the "Menu" button, and then press "2," "2," and "8." When “Next Fax Only” appears press the “Set” button. Use the arrows to select “ON” and then press “Set.”
Select a cover page comment. The comments available for the fax receiver to view include, "Please call," "Confidential," and "Urgent." Use the arrows to select a comment and then press the “Set” button. Input the number of pages you are sending and then press “Set” again.
Enter the phone number. You can store phone numbers in your system under the one touch dial or speed dial options. Use One Touch, the key pad, speed dial, or search to enter the phone number you would like to send your fax to.
Send the fax. Once the document is inserted, the cover page is set, and the phone number is entered press the “Fax Start” button located in the bottom right corner of the control panel. Your fax machine will then dial the number and proceed with sending your documents.
