How to Update the Yahoo Mail App
By Nick Peers
Yahoo updates its Mail app periodically to fix bugs and enhance its functionality. Yahoo Mail is automatically updated on your Android or iOS mobile device only if the automatic updates feature is enabled. If the feature is disabled, you can update the Yahoo Mail application manually by using the Play Store on Android devices or the App Store on iOS devices. Play Store and App Store are native apps.
Update on Android Devices
Launch the Play Store app on your Android device. You can find the icon on one of the screens or by opening the Applications menu. Tap the "Search" icon, type "Yahoo Mail" into the search field and then tap "Yahoo Mail" in the list of suggestions. Tap the "Update" button. If the button is labeled "Installed" instead of "Update," your app is up-to-date.
Update on iOS Devices
Launch the App Store on your iOS device and then tap the "Updates" tab. Tap the "Update" button next to Yahoo Mail to update it. If there is no "Update" button, the app is up-to-date. To update all apps on your iOS device, tap the "Update All" button.
