How to Uninstall Logitech SetPoint

by William Pullman

If you use a Logitech keyboard or mouse in your business, you may have Logitech's SetPoint software installed on your PC. This software lets you modify the settings for those peripheral devices. If you replace your keyboard or mouse with some other brand, you no longer need the SetPoint application on your computer. Logitech does not provide an uninstall option in the program folder, so you'll need to remove the program through the Windows Control Panel.

Click the "Start" button, then click "Control Panel" and select "Uninstall a program" if you are using the default Start menu view. If you are using the Classic view, click "Start," "Settings" and "Control Panel," then select "Uninstall a program."

Scroll down the list of installed applications and click "Logitech SetPoint X," where the "X" is the version number of the software installed on your PC. The program name is highlighted.

Click "Uninstall," which is above the software list. The SetPoint Setup window opens, warning that your customized settings will be deleted when you uninstall the program.

Click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the window. A progress bar appears.

Click the "Close" button at the bottom of the window when the "Uninstall is complete" message appears.
