When running your small business, there are times when you simply can't use your computer to view your iCal calendar. You can sync your iPad so that you can view the calendars directly on the mobile device. You need to use iTunes installed on your PC or Macintosh, and the process is a simple one.

Launch iTunes on your computer.

Connect the iPad to your computer using the USB cable that came with the device. ITunes recognizes and connects to the device.

Click the iPad in the Devices tab at the left and iTunes will display its information in the right pane.

Click the "Info" tab at the top of the iTunes window.

Place a check mark in front of the Sync iCal Calendars option.

Click the "All Calendars" radio button.

Remove the check mark in front of the Do Not Sync Events Older Than option if you don't want to sync events earlier than a time you specify.

Click "Apply" in the bottom right corner of the iTunes window to save and apply the new settings.

Click the "Sync" button to sync iCal with the iPad.

Warnings

Do not disconnect the iPad or close iTunes during the sync.
