Can I Upload a Slideshow to YouTube After It Is Exported from iPhoto to iDVD?by Amy Scott
One of iPhoto's features is the ability to quickly make attractive slideshows of your photos. IPhoto then allows you several options for sharing the created slideshow, including burning it to a disk in iDVD and uploading it to YouTube to share with the world. If you have already exported your slideshow from iPhoto to iDVD, you can still upload it to YouTube. The process is even more simple in this case, because when you exported the slideshow for use in iDVD, it created a file of the slideshow that you now can upload.
Open your browser and go to youtube.com.
Click the "Sign In" button in the top right corner of the home page if you are not already signed in. Enter your YouTube user name and password and click "Sign In."
Click the gray "Upload" button to the right of the YouTube search bar.
Click the "Upload Video" button in the Video File Upload section.
Click the Pictures option in the left sidebar of the pop-up upload window to view the contents of the Pictures file on your computer. Click the Slideshows folder in the Pictures folder. Click the name of the slideshow that you already exported to use in iDVD. Click the "OK" button to select it and upload it to YouTube.
Add a name, a description, tags and privacy settings for your slideshow on YouTube using the text fields provided. Click the "Save" button to save your changes and publish your video to YouTube.
