How to Link to an External Site on a Facebook Fan Page
By Shawn Farner
Facebook pages are similar to personal profile pages on the Facebook social network, except they're meant for businesses or organizations that want to connect with customers and fans online. Part of interacting with your Facebook page community is sharing content you think those users might enjoy. Facebook makes it easy to share an external link with the members of a Facebook page.
Sign in to your Facebook account.
Type the name of your Facebook page into the search box at the top of the screen and then click on its name in the auto-complete search results box.
Click the "Link" option in the "Share" section near the top of the Facebook page.
Enter the URL of the external link you'd like to share with those on your Facebook page and click "Attach."
Choose a thumbnail image or check " No Thumbnail." Write a comment about the link in the box provided.
Click the "Post" button to share the external link with your page fans.
