How to Make the Description Box Higher When Making a Tumblr Theme

If the description of your Tumblr blog does not fit in the space allocated to it, you can adjust the height of your theme's description box. The website allows you to fully customize the HTML source code for your blog; you can use this feature to locate the code for your description box. Its size can be adjusted using CSS elements.

Click "Customize" on your Tumblr home page and select "Edit HTML" in the Custom Theme section to open the source code for your current theme.

Press "Ctrl-F" and insert the following piece of code into your browser's search box:

Press "Enter" to locate the description box into your theme's source code.

Add "style='height:no_of_pixelspx;'" (without double quotes) to the div element to adjust its height using CSS, where "no_of_pixels" is the desired height expressed in pixels. For example, if you want your description box to be 100px high, you would type the following:

<div class="description" style='height:100px;'>

Click "Save" to save your changes and adjust the height of the description box on your Tumblr page.
