The "Diablo II" game generates each zone randomly: every time you create a new game, you will have to explore zones from scratch. To help you keep track of where you are, the game provides a function which overlays a map of the area you are exploring on your screen; this map can either take up the full screen or be placed in a corner of the screen as a mini map.
Press the "Esc" key to bring up the game menu and select "Options." Click "Automap Options" and ensure that the automap size is set to "Mini Map." Press the "Esc" key to return to the game.
Press the "Tab" key to bring up the mini map.
Press the "V" key to move the mini map to the top right corner of the game.
