"Call of Duty: World at War" is a World War II-themed, first-person shooter game for the PlayStation 3. Included in "World at War" is "Nazi Zombies," a bonus game mode that requires you to face off against an unending wave of zombies. When "World at War" was first released, you were required to defeat the single-player campaign before "Nazi Zombies" was unlocked. However, a patch has been issued that removes this requirement, making "Nazi Zombies" available for players the first time the game is played. To receive this patch, you must have an Internet connection for your PlayStation 3.
Insert "Call of Duty: World at War" into your PlayStation 3 and launch the game.
Select "Ok" to begin downloading the patch. You are prompted to download the patch as soon the game begins. Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, this patch can take anywhere from five to 30 minutes to download. Once the download is complete, the game restarts.
Select "Nazi Zombies" from the "World at War" main menu to play the game mode.
Tips
If you do not have an Internet connection to your PS3 and cannot download the update, you must complete the main "World at War" single-player campaign to unlock "Nazi Zombies."
