How to Reset "Nintendogs"

“Nintendogs” is a Nintendo DS game that allows players to care for a virtual dog. You may want to reset the game when you make a mistake or encounter a glitch. A game reset allows you to reboot the console and resume the game from your last saved position. Alternatively, you may want to reset the game’s data. A data reset deletes all game information and lets you start again from scratch. This function is useful if you receive the game secondhand or want to pass it on to a friend.
Reset Game
Hold down the “Power” button on your console until the system is off.
Press the “Power” button again to turn the system on again.
Tap the “Nintendogs” game icon on the Nintendo DS menu to start the game again.
Reset Game Data
Turn on your console and tap the “Nintendogs” game icon to start the game.
Hold down the “A,” “B,” “X,” “Y,” “R” and “L” buttons simultaneously.
Press the “Yes” option on the screen twice to confirm your intention to reset the data.
Warnings
All game information will be permanently deleted when you reset the game data. You will not be able to recover this information.
