How to Get a Twisted Spoon in "Pokemon Emerald"

In the “Pokemon” video games, certain items provide a boost to elemental attacks. For example, the twisted spoon boosts the power of Psychic-type attacks by 10 percent. The only way to obtain this item in “Pokemon Emerald” is to take it from a wild Abra. Abra only appear in the Granite Cave, a location in the western Hoenn region.
Fly to Dewford Town in southwest Hoenn.
Travel northwest from town to enter Route 106. Enter the Granite Cave on Route 106.
Use the "Flash" ability to illuminate the dark cave.
Explore the cave until you find a wild Abra. Abra’s appearance rate is 10 percent.
Hit Abra with the "Thief" attack. If the wild Abra is holding a twisted spoon, the attack will steal the item and add it to your inventory.
Repeat the previous two steps until you acquire a twisted spoon. Only 5 percent of wild Abra have a Twisted Spoon, so you may have to try numerous times.
Tips
If you don’t have the "Thief" attack, go to Slateport City in southern Hoenn. A character inside this building will give you Technical Machine 46, which allows your Pokemon to learn "Thief." This is a Dark-type attack with a base damage of 40. Various Pokemon can learn this attack, regardless of their elemental family.
