Updated September 28, 2017
Both TeX and LaTeX provide a simple, yet versatile typesetting platform to perfectly typeset essays, journals, reports and books. You can convert your TeX files to PDF with TeXworks. You will first need to create your TeX document, which you can do from TeXworks or by importing it from another program. Once the TeX file is loaded, it only takes a few clicks before you will have your document in PDF format.
Launch TeXworks from your desktop.
Open the TeX or LaTeX file you want to convert.
Click the green arrow icon on the top-left corner of the screen.
Type a name for the file and select "PDF documents (*.pdf)" from the "Save as Type" drop-down menu. You can also choose the destination folder from this same screen.
Click the "Save" button. TeXworks will convert TeX to PDF and alert you when it has finished building the file.
