How to Make Your Own Clothes in Roblox

Roblox allows users to create their own online video games and play games created by others. Roblox members appear as personal characters that they can customize by changing clothes, hair and other appearance aspects. Players can purchase clothing and other items for their characters through the Roblox catalog or design personalized T-shirts by uploading a picture to Roblox. Builders Club members can create shirts and pants in addition to T-shirts.

Enter your user name and password information under "Member Login" on the Roblox homepage. Click "Login" to access your personal Roblox account.

Click on “Character” at the top of the Roblox page to view the character customization screen where you can change your character’s look. Choose the type of clothing you want to create under “My Wardrobe” on the right side of the screen. Select “Create” to view the instructions for creating a shirt, T-shirt or pants.

Click “Browse” beneath the instructions on the T-shirt builder page to view pictures saved on your computer. Choose the picture you want to place on your T-shirt and click “Open” to populate the picture’s path. Click “Create T-shirt” to upload the picture to Roblox.

View the template if you are making a shirt or pants by clicking on “Shirt Template” or “Pants Template” using Step 2 of the instructions. Click on the template with your right-mouse button and choose “Save Picture As” from the menu to open the save window. Select a location and file name. Select “Save” to save the template.

Open the shirt or pants template with Microsoft Paint or another image editing program on your computer. Color and add designs to the clothing template using the software. Save the customized template to your computer.

Click “Browse” on the Roblox site beneath the clothing instructions to locate your customized shirt or pants template. Find the file saved on your computer. Click “Create Shirt” or “Create Pants” to upload your template to Roblox.

Return to the character customization screen. Find your new T-shirt, shirt or pants in the appropriate category under “My Wardrobe.” Choose “Wear” to have your character wear the new clothes.
