Items you will need
R4i-SDHC flash card
MicroSD card
USB connector for MicroSD card
PC with game roms you wish to load onto your R4i-SDHC
The R4i-SDHC is a Slot-1 flash card, with compatibility for the Nintendo DSi. It allows you to run homebrew software, greatly expanding the functionality of your Nintendo DSi, letting you play movies, listen to music and store backups of games directly on the SD memory of the flash card. This saves you time and space, allowing you to carry only one flash card with dozens of games, versus carrying the individual cartridges for each different game. Loading games onto your R4i-SDHC can be accomplished in a few short steps.
Remove the MiniSD card from your R4i-SDHC, and insert the card into the USB connector.
Insert the USB connector into your PC. The PC will recognize the storage device and open it for editing.
Create a directory called ROMS on your SD card. Copy the game roms to this directory.
Eject the USB connector, remove the MiniSD card and load it into your R4i-SDHC.
Insert the R4i-SDHC into your Nintendo DSi. Browse to the directory you created, and choose the ROM you wish to play.
