BoycottAdvance is a Gameboy Advance emulator for the Mac operating system. With Boycott, a user can download emulator files, which allow him to play his favorite Gameboy Advance games on the computer. When using an emulator such as this, the normal in-game save features are not available, however. To save your game, you must use a system found in the Boycott Advance emulator called "Freezing." BoycottAdvance will not play classic Gameboy games, just those made specifically for the Gameboy Advance.

Click on the "Options" menu when you have reached a point in the game that you would like to save.

Click on "Freeze Game Scene."

Type the name under which you want to save the game in the field provided. Select the location for the saved game by clicking on the drop-down menu.

Click on "Save."

Tips

To play your saved game, first open BoycottAdvance and the game file. Click on the Options menu, select "Defrost Game" and choose your saved game from the list.
