The slice tool is used to slice your picture layout into smaller sections to export your images using Photoshop on your Web page layout. You can do many things with the slice tool such as save the images that you slice, use the image in a HTML or add your website URL to the selected picture and even add text. You can also adjust the sections using the "Slice Select Tool." Removing a particular section that you have sliced is easy. All you need to do is complete a couple of steps.
Select the slices that you wish to remove from your image. Scroll to the tool bar on the left side of your screen and click the "Slice Tool," "Slice Select Tool" icon or click "C" on your keyboard.
Press the "Backspace" key to remove selected slices. Click the "Delete" key if the "Backspace" key doesn't remove slices.
Scroll to "View" on the top of your screen. Select "Clear Slices" to remove all slices.
