How to Get AP On IMVU

The IMVU community has a feature known as the Access Pass (AP). An Access Pass is used to allow confirmed adults to enter restricted areas of the site and to prevent minors from gaining access to adult only content. As of May 2011, the cost of an Access Pass is $19.95 USD. To pay for the service, you need to have access to a major credit card, such as Visa or MasterCard. This is to confirm your identity to ensure a minor is unable to make the purchase. PayPal and prepaid game cards are not accepted payment methods for an Access Pass.

Visit the main IMVU website. Click on the "Login" link. Enter your email address or username and password to login.

Click on the "Access Pass" link from the toolbar, located at the top of the page.

Review the information given to you about the access pass. When ready, click the "Buy Now" button.

Select "No Credits" from the first box if you do not wish to purchase credits. Select the "Access Pass" option from the second box. Choose your payment method in the third box. Click the "Checkout" button to proceed to the next page.

Sign into IMVU's 3D Chat software if you are not already logged in. If you are not logged in, the website will automatically launch the software for you. Enter your log in credentials in the program then proceed to checkout. Enter your payment information and confirm the transaction. Once you have done so, your account will have the access pass enabled.
