Behind the free-running, assassinations and sword fights in Assassin's Creed II lie a web of mysterious conspiracies. If you take the time to hunt down the game's hidden glyphs using Eagle Vision, you learn the dark and confusing details about the history of the Templars and Assassins. The ninth glyph you find, regardless of the location, opens the Hat-Trick puzzle. Solve its image puzzles and decoder ring to unlock the Dallas archive.
Solving the Puzzle
Hat-Trick starts with two image puzzles, where you need to find hidden Pieces of Eden. In the first, move the cursor to Houdini's chest, and in the second, search in Gandhi's chest.
The second part of the puzzle presents you with a decoder ring. The solution to aligning the ring is mixed in with the background images: 6=1. Turn the wheel to line up the number 6 on the outer wheel with the 1 on the inner wheel, and read the inner numbers that align with 867. Enter the result, 312, to unlock the archive and read about the Templars' involvement with JFK.
