How to Get Rid of Win32.Malware-Gen

Win32.Malware-Gen is a malicious program that affects the Windows operating system. Once installed, generally through a malicious email attachment, the program may slow your computer, change your desktop background, corrupt your files and allow a remote hacker access to your personal information. The easiest way to remove Win32.Malware-Gen is to run your anti-malware program. If your anti-malware program fails to detect Win32.Malware-Gen, or if you do not have access to the Internet, you can remove the malicious program manually.
Press Ctrl, Shift and Escape to open the Task Manager.
Click the "Processes" tab of the Task Manager.
Right-click "Win32 malware.gen" and select "End Process."
Close the Task Manager.
Delete Registry Entries
Click "Start," type "regedit" into the search field and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
Delete the following registry entry from the left pane of the Registry Editor. To delete the registry entry, right-click the entry and select "Delete." If you are having trouble locating the registry entry, click "Edit," "Find," type the name of the entry into the search field and click "Find Next."
Close the Registry Editor.
Click "Start," type "Win32 malware.gen.exe" into the search field.
Right-click "Win32 malware.gen.exe" in the results list and select "Delete."
Restart your computer.
