C&C Red Alert: 2 Multiplayer Cheats

C&C Red Alert 2, also referred to as Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, is a PC video game developed by Westwood Studios and Electronic Arts and was released in October 2000. It is a real-time strategy war game, where you can play as either the Allies or the Soviets to fight against the opposing force. C&C Red Alert 2 can be played as a multiplayer game online using an Internet connection, and there are a number of cheats that can be used to help you beat your online opponent.

Unlimited Free Infantry

This cheat allows you to produce infantry at no cost. First, you must build a Cloning Vat. Then build a wall surrounding your primary barracks so that new infantry units cannot leave. Now click on your barracks and order the training of a new infantry unit. Once the training is completed, the infantry unit will not be able to leave the barracks, so the money it cost to train the unit will be refunded to you. However, the Cloning Vat will produce an infantry unit at no cost. This cheat will work as many times as you like, as long as you keep the wall intact around your barrack and your Cloning Vat is not destroyed.

Build Anywhere on the Map

You can only use this cheat if you are playing as the Allies. First, you must wait until have paradrops ready to be deployed, and then you must select a building to construct. When the building is ready to be placed onto the map, click on the paradrops icon in the sidebar, but do not deploy them. Next, you must click on the building that you have ready to put on the map. Use the mini-map in the bottom right corner of the screen to choose your location for the building and then place the building in your chosen spot.

Safe Transport

You can only use this cheat if you are playing as the Soviets. This cheat allows you to use a school bus to transport infantry units around a map, and the Allies will not shoot. First, you must find a school bus on the map you are playing. Once you have found one, use the mind control option to take control of the school bus. Then load the school bus with infantry units and transport them to any location on the map. Allied forces will not shoot at the school bus, so you can transport infantry units into an allied base without them being harmed.

Use Cows to Explore the Map

In Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 some maps include cows enclosed by fences. These cows can be used to a player’s advantage. First, you must free the cows, so instruct your troops to destroy the fence surrounding them. Once the fence is destroyed, the cows are then free to roam around the map. Select a cow and you will be able to control it. Direct it around the map so that shrouded areas become visible. Cows will not be shot at by enemy troops, so you can lead a cow into an enemy base to reveal your enemies capabilities.
