YouTube allows you to do a variety of things with videos on the site, but unfortunately does not provide an easy way for these videos to be downloaded. Luckily, several websites exist that take the hassle out of downloading a YouTube video from the video-sharing site to your PC. Once you have a YouTube video downloaded, you can play it anytime you want, even without an Internet connection. Use of one several options to download a YouTube video to your PC.
Download videos using KeepVid. Paste the URL of the YouTube Video you want to download into the "URL" field and click the "DOWNLOAD" button to save the video to your PC.
Save a YouTube video to your hard drive using SaveVid. Enter the URL of the YouTube video into the field marked "URL" and click the "Download" button. You can then save the file to the location you prefer.
Visit the ClipNabber home page and use that tool to download YouTube videos. Copy the URL of the YouTube video's page, then paste that URL into the "URL" field on the ClipNabber site. Click "Nab!" to download the file.
