"Assassin's Creed" features the ability to pickpocket for its Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions. During the game, areas of the map will be marked for players to go pickpocket specific characters. Players will find the person marked for pickpocketing in this place. They must approach the characters while they are moving to successfully take the contents of their pockets. Each version of the game has specific buttons for this action.
Approach the person marked on the map. Lock onto the person using "L1" for PS3, left trigger for Xbox 360 and "F" for PC.
Follow that person and wait until they are looking away from you. Press "Circle" for PS3, "B" for Xbox 360 and "Shift" for PC to pickpocket the person while they are moving.
Hold the pickpocket button until you are able to get all of the contents in the person's pocket. Walk away as soon as your done to avoid being seen.
