After you're finished with your Google Sketchup projects, you'll need to export your SketchUp models and drawings into a more accessible file format for use in other programs. SketchUp includes the ability to export your 2D graphics into JPEG (Joint Photographics Experts Group) format.
Launch SketchUp from the program's shortcut on your desktop. You'll need to download and install a copy of SketchUp it you don't already have it (see Resources).
Click on the program's "File" heading. Select the "Open" option from the "File" menu. Locate the SketchUp file you'd like to convert, using the file explorer window that appears.
Return to the "File" heading. Navigate down the "File" menu to the "Export" heading. Select the "2D Graphic" option from the "Export" sub-menu.
Select the "JPEG Image (*.jpg)" option from the "Export type" menu box when the "Export 2D Graphics" window appears.
Enter a name for your JPEG image into the "File name" field in the "Export 2D Graphics" menu. Select and output folder to store the JPEG image using the folder tree inside the "Export 2D Graphics" window.
Click on the "Export" button to convert your SketchUp graphic into JPEG format.
