How to Remove EZ Update

by Richard Kalinowski ; Updated September 28, 2017

EZ Update provides PHP auto-updating services to subscribers. This program lets you keep your website current without the hassles of daily, manual updating. Your blog and other preloaded content pages post at predetermined times, keeping your website active without making you log in and edit the site on a daily basis. If you no longer need this service, or if you've switched to a different PHP updater service, you can remove EZ Update software.

Click the Windows "Start" button.

Click “Control Panel.” A new window opens on-screen.

Click “Uninstall a Program,” located underneath the “Programs” heading. Wait a moment while Windows compiles a list of all programs installed on your system.

Scroll through the list until you find “EZ Update.”

Click "EZ Update" and select “Uninstall.” A Windows dialog box pops up, asking if you're sure you want to remove the program.

Click “OK” to continue, and enter your administrator password if prompted. The program automatically uninstalls from your system after you click “OK” to confirm the operation.
