There are more than 65,000 apps available for download from Apple's App Store ranging from games to business apps. With so many apps available, and music and movies also taking up space on your device, you may find it difficult to find empty space on your iPad for future downloads. With a few taps of your finger you can remove apps you aren't using. Don't worry about permanently deleting an app. If you've synced your iPad with iTunes on your computer, any apps you remove are backed up and available to move back onto your iPad at any time.

Turn on your iPad and navigate to the screen where the app you want to delete is located.

Press and hold your finger against the app you want to remove until all the apps on the screen begin to wiggle.

Tap the "X" in the upper-left corner of the app to remove it. A prompt appears asking if you are sure you want to delete the app.

Tap "Delete." The iPad deletes the app and any data associated with the app.

Press the round "Home" button on the bottom of the iPad to stop the apps from wiggling.
