Google offers logins for its Gmail service and other programs. When you sign up for these accounts, you are required to create a username and password as well as enter a secondary email and a security question with an answer in the event your account gets compromised or you lose your password. If you have forgotten your password, you can retrieve it through entering your sign-up information.
Navigate to the Google login page or the Gmail login page.
Click "Can't Access Your Account?" then click "I Forgot My Password."
Click "Password Recovery" then click "I Forgot My Password."
Type your Google username in the field provided and click "Submit." Answer the security question with the answer you created and your password will be sent to the secondary email address you stored with Google.
