Net 10 is a mobile phone operator that is part of the TracFone franchise. It offers prepaid wireless service to customers in the United States. Once you purchase a Net 10 cell phone, you can sign up for an online account that allows you to check your phone usage, check your available credit, change equipment and buy airtime. The online account is completely optional and isn't required to establish a Net 10 line of service.

Open a web browser and navigate to the Net 10 homepage (under Resources, below). Click the "Register Now" link at the top of the page.

Fill out the required information on the sign-up page. You must complete the first name, last name, address, zip code, email, password, security question and answer, phone serial number and Net 10 phone number fields. The home phone, date of birth and Net 10 phone nickname fields are optional.

Click "Submit" to create the account. You will receive a message telling you that Net 10 has sent a confirmation email to your account. You will need to open the email and click on the link to complete the signup process.

Navigate to the Net 10 sign-in page (under Resources, below). Enter the email you used to create the account and the password and click "Sign In."

Choose the area you wish to view. To see phone call and text message history click the "Account Activity" link. You can also view payments, purchase credit and change the phone associated with the account.

Tips

Click the "Remember Me" block on the sign in page to store your log-in information on the computer.

The account password must be at least 6 characters.
