The WBFS Manager is a computer application that allows you to format and partition a USB drive to be read by the Wii console. The WBFS Manager allows you to load Wii games from your hard disk or a Wii disc, allowing you to keep backups of your Wii games. You can quickly format and load backup Wii games and play them through your favorite USB Loader with the aid of the WBFS Manager.

Insert the USB drive into an available USB port on the computer.

Double-click on "My Computer" and right-click the USB drive. Choose "Format" and click the boxes "FAT32" and "Quick Format. Click "OK" to format the drive.

Open the WBFS Manager program by double-clicking on it.

Click on the drive drop-down box and verify that the USB drive is selected. Press the "Refresh" button if needed to display the drive.

Click on the "Format" button and you will be prompted with a message asking you to verify that you are formatting the correct drive. Click on "OK" and the USB drive will be formatted and partitioned in WBFS Manager to be used for loading Wii backup games for use with homebrew Wii USB loaders.
