How to Recover an Erased Nintendo DS File

Unfortunately, once a file is deleted from your Nintendo DS, it cannot be recovered, unless it was backed up onto some form of portable memory.This article will walk you through restoring a backed up file to your DS.

Check that the SD card is not locked -- there is a small lock switch on the side of the card. Insert the memory card in the SD card slot on the DS.

Open the "Options" menu on your Nintendo DS, and select "Memory."

Find and select the appropriate file in the card's memory.
