How to Decrypt an ISO Game

The ISO file format is used to archive the data on CDs and DVDs as images to the hard disk. You can burn an ISO image to a CD or DVD, or you can mount it onto a program that reads ISO files. You can also archive the data on a game CD or DVD into an ISO file, which you can then encrypt to protect it. You can immediately remove the encryption on an ISO game file within Windows.

Right-click the ISO game file and click on “Properties.”

Click the "General" tab, followed by the “Advanced” button under the “Attributes” section.

Click on “Encrypt Contents to Secure Data” to remove the check next to it.

Click “OK” to decrypt the ISO game.
