How to Get to Hellfire Peninsula in ""WoW""by Chris MiksenUpdated September 22, 2017
The "World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade" expansion brought with it the added content of the Outland, a separate world from Azeroth. The Outland contains seven separate zones, and one of the zones is named the "Hellfire Peninsula." The Hellfire Peninsula is a starting zone for players as low as level 58. The Peninsula is the gateway to all of the other zones in the Outland, and it's reachable through the Dark Portal. You must be at least level 58 to travel into the Outland and to the Hellfire Peninsula. You also must have the "Burning Crusade" expansion installed and activated.
Visit the Eastern Kingdoms. If you are on the Kalmidor or Northrend continent, you'll have to head over to the Eastern Kingdoms. You can do this by taking a boat from either Theramore, Ratchet, Auberdine, Valiance Keep or Valgarde.
Fly to the Blasted Lands. If you're level 58 or higher, you should have the Blasted Lands flight path. If you don't, walk there or choose a flight path that's close, such as the Swamp of Sorrows or Darkshire.
Push "M" when you arrive in the Blasted Lands to pull up your map. Go to the middle of the Blasted Lands. As you approach the middle, you'll see a large dark portal.
Run directly into the portal. A loading screen will appear. Once the loading screen disappears, you'll be in the Hellfire Peninsula.
