Your IP address is the Internet's way of locating you. When the Internet wants to send you a file such as a Web page, it uses your IP address to do it. If you want to retrieve the IP address your phone is currently using, you'll need to connect to the Internet and use a service that tells you what your IP address is. Your IP addressed will be displayed right on your phone's screen.

Connect to the Internet. If your phone is Wi-Fi supported but doesn't have Internet on it's own, find a Wi-Fi hotspot. If your phone supports Internet on it's own, make sure you have a plan that supports Internet connections.

Open your in-phone browser.

Navigate to a website that tells you your current IP address (see Resources). Follow the prompts until your IP address is displayed.
