Cell phones have evolved into a high-tech multimedia device that does more than just phone calls. Today, a cell phone has a Web browser, a digital camera and even an MP3 player, just to name a few features. Apple’s iPhone is no exception; it has also included a music player that plays MP3, WMA, AAC and other music file formats to cater to its music-loving customers. Transferring your favorite MP3 files to your iPhone is made easy with the use of the iTunes software created by Apple for the iPhone and iPod.
Launch iTunes on your computer.
Click the "File" menu. Select and click the "New Playlist" menu to create a playlist to import your MP3 files. Type a name you prefer for your new playlist using your computer’s keyboard.
Select the newly created playlist. Open the folder where the MP3 files you wish to copy are located.
Drag the MP3 file to the right pane of the playlist the MP3 you wish to copy to the list. Add more MP3 files by repeating this step.
Connect your iPhone to the computer via the iPhone’s USB cable. Your iPhone will appear in the Summary tab.
Click the "Music" tab on iTunes and click the "Sync Music" check box. Click the created playlist’s check box on your iPhone.
Press the "Sync" button on iTunes to copy the created playlist to your iPhone.
Disconnect your iPhone from the computer. Browse your phone to check if the copying was successful.
