How to Hook Up the Skateboard for Tony Hawk Ride
By Seth Amery
Updated September 22, 2017
Released in 2009 by Activision, "Tony Hawk: Ride" is a skateboarding game that uses a plastic peripheral for the first time in the series. Fans of the series will be used to playing with a regular controller, and they may not know how to connect the plastic skateboard controller to play the game. Whether your copy is on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or the Nintendo Wii, you must sync the board to the console before playing.
Turn on the console.
Slide the power switch on the board to "On." This is located on the side of the board.
Insert the dongle that came with the board into a USB port, located on the front of the PlayStation 3.
Press the console's sync button. On the Xbox 360, this is next to the power button. On the Nintendo Wii, this is behind a small door on the front of the console. On the PlayStation 3, this is on the dongle.
