Featuring many improvements over its predecessor, Hypersonic 2 includes a 1.7 gigabyte sound library with hundreds of preset instrument sounds. Hypersonic 2 can be played as a standalone instrument, or as a VST in another digital workstation. Prior to using Hypersonic 2, it must be installed just like any other software. Make sure your computer has the minimum system requirements to run Hypersonic 2.

Meet the minimum system requirements to install Hypersonic 2 on the PC. According to the Hypersonic 2 user guide, the PC must have at a least a 1.4 gigahertz Pentium or AMD processor. Additionally, the computer must have at least 512 megabytes of Ram, and 1.7 gigabytes of free hard drive disk space. Insert the Hypersonic 2 DVD into the computer's CD-ROM disk tray. The contents of the Hypersonic DVD will open in a new window. Double-click on the Hypersonic Installer symbol to launch the installation program. Accept the Terms and Conditions of the software and click "Next" to begin the installation.

Follow the installer's on-screen instructions to complete the installation. The computer will initiate an automatic restart of the computer.

After the automatic restart, insert the provided Steinberg Key into the PC's available USB port. Click "Next" on the installer to load the key's data. When the activation process is completed, Hypersonic 2 will be ready to use.
