The Sidewinder may serve as an extremely useful accessory for gaining access to your vehicle, but without a programmed remote, you will not be able to use this keyless fob. In order to program this keyless entry remote, you will have to have your car key accessible, as well as your vehicle itself. If you haven't ever programmed a Sidewinder remote before, do not fret. With the right instructions, you will be able to start using your Sidewinder keyless entry fob in under two minutes.
Sit in your vehicle and open the driver's-side door.
Stick the car key into the ignition, then turn it forward to the "Run" position. Do not start the car's engine while programming the remote.
Press the valet button on your vehicle for a total of seven times. This will allow you to program each of the remote's four buttons, instead of only one.
Hold down the valet button, then press one of the "Lock" button on the remote.
Let go of the "Lock" button, then take the car key out of the ignition. Your Sidewinder remote is now ready to be used when you exit the vehicle.
