Hotspot Shield installed on your computer
Watching Netflix via its streaming service can be a convenient way to watch movies from the comfort of your own home. However, if you find yourself outside of the United States, then normally you would not be able to view Netflix from your computer or other Netflix compatible device. Luckily, there is a way to trick your Internet connection into thinking you are still in the United States, which will trick the Netflix service into thinking you actually are still within the U.S.
Open "Hotspot Shield" and allow it to load completely. Once loaded, connect the program to a server within the United States. This will create a virtual private network (VPN) and will trick your Internet connection into thinking you are still in the United States.
Log into your Netflix account and choose which movie you want to stream.
Click "Play" to begin playing your movie on your computer.
