Adobe offers many useful software products like Adobe Reader, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Acrobat. When Adobe updates a program, it sends a message to the user to install the latest update. Depending on your settings an update may be automatically installed. If you decide you don’t want the Adobe update, it is easy to uninstall or remove the program from your computer.
Click the “Start” menu.
Click on “Control Panel."
Click the “Programs” and then “Programs and Features” in Vista and Windows 7.
Search for the Adobe update you want to uninstall from the list of installed programs. Click on it.
Click "Uninstall" in Vista and Windows 7.
Confirm removal of Adobe program update.
Restart computer to remove update.
