Items you will need

  • Coaxial cables

  • Coaxial cable splitter

You are able to hook two TVs into one DirecTV receiver. This will allow you to watch TV in different rooms of your home. You will not be able to watch different channels at the same time but can enjoy the same programming. This is helpful for TVs you operate at different times, such as bedroom and living room TVs.

Make sure the cable coming from the wall attaches to the satellite In connector on the back of your DirecTV box.

Attach a coaxial cable to the satellite Out connector. Attach the input end of the coaxial splitter at the other end of the cable.

Attach another coaxial cable to one of the outputs of the coaxial splitter. Run this cable to the back of your TV.

Use a third coaxial cable to attach to another output from the splitter and run this to a second TV.
