Instructions for How to Use a Wii Remote Charger
By Bryan Roberts
Updated September 22, 2017
The Nintendo Wii, like many other seventh-generation home gaming consoles, makes use of wireless controllers to play games. If you have a Wii, and want to keep playing without constantly changing your batteries, you can do so by making use of the Wii remote charger. With this device, you can charge your Wii remotes when you are not using them.
Plug the USB cord connected to your Wii remote charger into one of the USB ports located on the back of your Wii.
Remove the battery doors from the back of your Wii remotes. Place the battery packs that come with your Wii remote charger into the battery compartments of your Wii remote.
Place the Wii remotes into the Wii remote slots on your Wii remote charger. The light on the front of your charger will light up and the remotes will begin charging. When charging is complete, the light will turn off.
Warnings
In order for the remote charger to work, the Wii must be kept on at all times.
