How to Sync Samsung Mobile Contacts to a PC

Samsung offers numerous mobile products that can be used to send and receive email, access the Internet and text. Keeping your contacts list up-to-date is important. Samsung mobile users can use Windows Mobile Device Center to sync contacts. Windows Mobile Device Center is a product Microsoft designed to help mobile users sync content such as contacts and notes with a computer.
Download and install Windows Mobile Device Center on the computer (see Resources). Follow the prompts to install the software correctly.
Connect the Samsung mobile device to the computer using a USB cable.
Press “Menu,” then “Settings” and “Applications” on the Samsung mobile device.
Click “Development,” then uncheck “USB Debugging” on the mobile device. The USB icon should appear on the Samsung mobile device and the computer should recognize the device.
Click “Start,” then “Control Panel” and “Windows Mobile Device Center” on the computer.
Click “Set up your device” in the “Windows Mobile Device Center” window.
Check the “Contacts” box, then click “Next.”
Enter a name for the Samsung mobile device in the appropriate field, then click “Next.”
Wait for the syncing process to complete, then disconnect the Samsung mobile from the computer.
