Cutting and editing videos can be a hassle if you do not have the proper software installed or are using a public computer with restrictions to install software. Fortunately, there are a few websites that allow you to upload and edit your videos. Some websites are free while others may charge a fee or ask you to join their community.
Navigate to a website that enables you to edit videos online (see Resources for links).
If the website requires you to sign up for an account, go ahead and do so. Log in after creating your account.
Click on the button labeled "Upload media" or "Upload video." A dialog box will open, and in this box locate the file on your computer and click "Select."
Click on the button labeled "Edit video." You will see a dashboard with various video editing tools. Some websites will take you directly to this dashboard after your file is uploaded.
Use the appropriate tools to edit the video. You can refer to the "Help" section of the website to read about the various tools and features that the website has to offer.
After you are done with editing, click on the button labeled "Download media" or "Download video."
